President's message

Fadi Habib Samaha, Commandeur de l’Ordre de Léopold II

With the crystal understanding of both our Objectives and Mission, coupled with the determination to succeed – Our Tenure seems to meet the elapse of three years of continuous hard work to render the most beautifully achieved moments of values.

It is my pleasure to highlight that pursuant to our elections three years ago we as a newly elected Board, looked into two very important files – The first being the membership which was at its lowest edge «17» Members only while the Treasury had a negative balance on our handover. Now, three years later, we are proud to admit that our members roll has increased to exceed 46 active members and with a positive substantial bank account.

This modest growth and upgrade of our Organization is simply an equal reaction to both our Board and General Assembly Members who devoted their time and pains to see to it that there will be no setback to their highly esteemed Organization. I would like to seize this opportunity to thank each and every one of them for their perseverance, loyalty and perfection.

Lastly, I would like to wish the new Board to be elected on May 8th 2017 to pursue our march, keep the torch well lit and to act where we did not succeed.

What is still on my mind is the setting up of the «Belgian House» coupled with our motion to name a street or a public garden in the name of «Brussels» where I think we may do Belgium some justice.

Last, but surely not the least, I would like to thank all those who helped us in our Mission and in particular all Members of the Royal Belgian Embassy headed, speared and guided by H.E. The Belgian Ambassador  Mr. Hubert COOREMAN.

Long live the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Lebanon, and the Belgian-Lebanese Friendship !
